The new Sebring VA Clinic officially opened to patients in December 2025 and is a significant upgrade over the previous location. It is part of the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System and was built to improve access to care for veterans in Highlands County and surrounding communities.

- Approximately 14,600 square feet
- Designed to serve more than 5,000 veterans each year
- Replaces the older, smaller VA clinic with a more modern facility.
Services Offered
The clinic provides a broad range of outpatient services, including:
- Primary care
- Mental health counseling
- PTSD treatment
- Substance use treatment
- Laboratory services
- Social work
- Clinical pharmacy
- Nutrition and dietitian services
- Telehealth
- Home-Based Primary Care
- Women’s health services
- Care coordination through the VA’s Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) model.

- Monday–Friday
- 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
What It Doesn’t Provide
The Sebring VA Clinic is an outpatient clinic, not a hospital. It does not offer:
- Emergency room services
- Overnight hospitalization
- Major surgery
Veterans needing hospital-level care are typically referred to larger VA medical centers such as those in Bay Pines, Tampa, or West Palm Beach, depending on the service needed.
For many veterans considering retirement in the Sebring area, this new clinic is a major benefit because it greatly reduces the need to travel to Tampa or St. Petersburg for routine care while providing expanded primary care and mental health services close to home.
